Georgia Kousovista
@georgiakousovista
I build data-driven life-cycle assessment platforms for sustainable buildings and energy systems.
What I'm looking for
I'm developing and maintaining VERIFY at CERTH, an automated Life Cycle Assessment and Life Cycle Costing platform used across Horizon Europe projects for sustainable buildings and districts.
I design data-processing workflows for building materials, energy consumption, environmental impacts, and life-cycle costs, and support LCA/LCC analyses for renewable energy, district energy, and energy-efficiency interventions. I also translate research objectives into technical approaches for national and European proposals.
Previously, at The Data Place, I built AI-enabled smart-hive and computer-vision pipelines to decode honeybee waggle dances and turn video data into ecological insights. At European Dynamics, I supported the coordination and delivery of the TENACITy and EURMARS Horizon Europe security research projects.
My applied physics and big-data background supports my work across machine learning, predictive modelling, data visualization, and environmental analysis. I communicate technical results with researchers, engineers, industry partners, and policymakers, and contribute to peer-reviewed work on life-cycle assessment, sustainable buildings, and energy systems.
