What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead network monitoring and security modernization—upgrading monitoring/NAC/firewall policy, strengthening zero-trust identity controls, and partnering across teams to reduce incidents while improving reliability.

I’m a Network Engineer currently supporting Sentry Insurance’s Networking and Data Connectivity team, where I help upgrade and modernize Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba switches/routers. I manage Aruba ClearPass wireless and NAC systems, support incident response and troubleshooting, and lead network restructuring that keeps remote offices connected and resilient.

My background also strongly blends networking with security. As a Senior Information Security Analyst, I supported day-to-day identity issues and helped create the Transfer and Manager Review Governance program to reinforce zero-trust security practices through review integrity.

Earlier, as an Information Security Supervisor, I built and managed two teams from the ground up—building the SOC and an infosec co-op program, standing up phishing awareness, and supervising recruiting and mentoring. I also created monthly cost-savings reporting that earned positive attention for the security function, and I worked with a data analytics student worker to develop a capstone program for hands-on security learning.

Before that, I served as a Security Analyst II and then as a Systems Engineer II, leading firewall administration, Bluecoat proxy support, Linux-based malware analysis and vulnerability testing, digital investigations, and network designs that spanned remote offices, access closets, wireless networking, monitoring, and F5 load balancing. I’ve spent years turning complex requirements into clear procedures and documentation—reducing errors through process updates like post-implementation audit checks—while delivering large multi-vendor projects from concept to cutover.
