What I'm looking for

I’m open to in-house, compliance, governance, and regulatory advisory roles, including startup legal work. I’m especially interested in opportunities where I can build/strengthen AML/CFT and board-ready governance while working with regulators—possibly remotely with international exposure.

I’m a corporate legal and regulatory compliance executive with “over ten years of post-call experience in Nigeria,” focused on the intersection of law, regulation, and commercial strategy. I advise boards, financial institutions, and fast-growing businesses—whether the work is policy design, regulatory engagement, or high-stakes documentation.

My track record includes “designing AML/CFT frameworks that have passed external regulatory scrutiny,” representing companies in “formal EFCC proceedings,” and building compliance programmes from zero across multiple subsidiaries. I translate regulatory change into practical, board-level decisions and operational controls that regulators can understand and review with confidence.

In my most recent role, I “built the company’s AML and CFT compliance programme from zero,” covering PEP policy, enhanced due diligence, and suspicious transaction procedures across five subsidiaries. I’ve also served as the primary liaison with EFCC and other regulatory bodies, managing formal engagements and government inquiries while protecting corporate interests.

I’m equally comfortable “in a boardroom and in front of a regulator,” with experience across corporate governance, data protection (NDPR), enterprise risk management, and contract lifecycle work (including “over 100” agreements). I’m pursuing ICSAN certification in corporate secretarial practice and I’m open to in-house compliance, governance, and regulatory advisory work— including remote roles with international exposure.
