What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a mental health-focused role where I can support clients with therapeutic structure, crisis-informed communication, and evidence-based techniques, while continuing to grow through clinical supervision and leadership opportunities.

I’m pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Florida, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Art Therapy. I’m drawn to work that blends clinical insight with practical, person-centered support.

As an Activity Specialist at the Mental Health Resource Center, I orchestrated group activities three times a day for Baker Acted adults, using meditation, coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, recreation, and relaxation. I applied crisis training skills and verbal de-escalation techniques in an inpatient setting, and I contributed to a treatment team of nurses, a psychiatrist, and social workers regarding patient mental status and discharge.

During my undergraduate internship with the Florida Psychological Association, I observed individual therapy, group therapy, psychological evaluations, and medication management appointments, along with parenting workshops and Applied Behavior Analysis activities. I shadowed Parent Child Interaction therapy (PCIT) sessions, coded child-directed interactions, and supported clinicians by proofing and revising official reports and evaluation feedback, while also handling patient scheduling, time management, and insurance information through Insync.

I’ve also gained hands-on experience through an undergraduate internship at Behavior Management Consultants, supporting Discrete Trial Instruction, Naturalistic Teaching Interventions, Reinforcer Assessments, and reviewing Behavior Intervention plans under supervision. Through the Ignite Healthcare Leadership Program (including a Mayo Clinic simulation center leadership experience), I’ve strengthened my leadership identity and collaboration skills—backed by certifications including CPR/AED, HIPAA, Good Clinical Practice, and CITI.
