I am looking for a new challenge because I would like a more agile environment and a company where things move faster. Being remote is also important for me to stay close to my family. I am open to roles in Data Science or Marketing Analytics as manager, but if the proposal is interesting I could consider going back to individual contributor.

Data Science Manager | Leading teams and translating complex data challenges into rigorous, scalable and business-focused solutions.
What I'm looking for
I am a data science leader passionate about turning complex data challenges into scalable, business-driven solutions. My career blends academic depth with real-world impact — from researching pulsars at NASA Goddard (https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/2018/pulsar-in-a-box-reveals-surprising-picture-of-a-neutron-star-s-surroundings) to leading high-performing AI teams in global corporations.
Currently, I manage a talented team at Dow Jones, where we deliver GenAI and machine learning solutions that enhance our products. I’ve hired and developed top talent, shaped project roadmaps, and built cross-functional partnerships that expand our team’s influence across the organization. I also enjoy representing our work externally, such as presenting our news recommendation system at Dev BCN in Barcelona (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOzNT91RD34).
Previously at Amazon, I worked with large-scale advertising datasets to generate actionable insights and models (NLP, Causality, Markov Chain, Propensity Modeling) that contributed to over $15M in ad sales. Earlier, as a Data Science Consultant at Accenture, I led diverse projects spanning forecasting, propensity modeling, and clustering — learning to balance technical rigor with business pragmatism, having MVPs and the 80/20 rule as North Star.
I believe leadership in data science is a blend of many qualities: organizational clarity, technical competency, resourcefulness, coaching and motivation, and a passion for strategy and business impact. One senior leader once told me she loved that I kept thinking about a problem she raised — even over dinner. That’s the kind of curiosity and drive I bring to every challenge. And BTW I also believe I gave a very good suggestion that time 🙂.
