I am a highly accomplished IT professional and educator with a strong foundation in both academia and industry. With a Master's degree in Information Technology from the prestigious University of Madras, India, and a B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science and IT from Arba-Minch University, Ethiopia, I have honed my skills and knowledge in the field of technology.

Academic Journey:

My educational journey has been marked by dedication and excellence. I pursued my Master's degree in Information Technology through the Pan-African E-Network Project, a testament to my commitment to advancing my skills and knowledge globally.

Educator and Leader:

During my tenure at Samara University's College of Engineering and Technology, I served as a full-time lecturer and took on the role of Head of ICT Teaching and Learning Technology. This leadership position allowed me to shape the educational landscape and contribute significantly to the development of future IT professionals.

Industry Experience:

I transitioned to the Information Network Security Agency (INSA) as a Geospatial System Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in the intricacies of geospatial technology and security.

Cisco Expertise:

My journey as a full-time lecturer and Cisco Instructor at Mekelle University's Engineering and Technology Department has allowed me to impart knowledge and skills to the next generation of IT professionals. I have also held the position of Cisco Academy Manager, underscoring my dedication to advancing networking education.

Awards and Certifications:

I have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the IBM Academic Certificate for Security Intelligence Engineer and the Security Intelligence Engineer - Explorer Award for Educators. These accolades underscore my dedication to staying at the forefront of IT innovations.

International Exposure:

My international exposure includes completing Linux Professional Training (LPI-1) in Ethiopia, participating in workshops organized by International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publication (INASP) and Consortium of Ethiopia Academic and Research Libraries (CEARL), and acquiring Cisco certifications.
