At SENTIR Laboratories, I serve as Principal Investigator on a Navy SBIR Phase I contract, leading hardware and software development for non-intrusive shipboard sensing.
I architected a wireless sensor network combining vibration, thermal, acoustic, magnetic, and electrical sensing with edge AI anomaly detection and encrypted data pipelines. I also designed and assembled custom PCBs and wrote embedded C and Assembly software for AVR and PIC microcontrollers.
My work at SENTIR Laboratories spans the product lifecycle, including 3D-printed enclosures, cross-platform deployment for iOS data collection apps and Windows automation tools, and coordination of hardware and mechanical design for field-deployable devices. I built deep learning models in Python with TensorFlow and Keras to classify biometric data.
Earlier, I maintained and repaired advanced radio systems in the U.S. Navy and supervised contractors during HF repeater antenna maintenance and installation. I also tutored students in mathematics, physics, and programming at the Learning Assistance Center, City College of San Francisco.
