I work as a warehouse and logistics associate focused on accuracy, safety, and getting orders ready on time. At Amazon, I built my skills in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations, using barcodes and inventory systems to keep work moving efficiently.
Before that, I worked as a Sales Associate at Ross, where I strengthened my patience and communication. I maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment, and I treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy while staying friendly and professional.
In warehouse roles, I learned to receive and sort inventory, select and scan items, and load conveyor belts to move deliveries through the right stages. I also handle shrink-wrapping securely, follow industrial safety regulations, and use barcode scanners to receive products into the Amazon inventory system while checking for damaged goods.
Most recently, I’ve been working ship-dock, receive-dock, and stow—loading and unloading packages from delivery trucks, using pallets jacks and scanners, and stowing inventory into storage bins for pickers. I’m now hoping to earn a chance to work at hobby lobby to learn more and keep growing in retail and logistics.
