Francisco Chalan

I’m a Full Stack Developer with 15+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining web applications across backend and frontend environments. I focus on building scalable systems and delivering maintainable solutions end-to-end.

In my current role as Full Stack Developer at IUVITY (Jan 2021 – Present), I develop backend and frontend applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and NestJS, alongside Outsystems. I also work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, and I deploy containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Previously, as a National Development Expert at Ecuador Tax Authority (SRI) (Apr 2018 – Jan 2021), I developed backend and frontend applications with Java and Ionic, working with Oracle databases and containerized environments. Earlier, at the Ministry of Labor, I built backend and frontend solutions with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Ionic, using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

Across SENECYT, the National Institute of Meritocracy, and the Ministry of Education, I’ve strengthened my backend foundation with Java and Spring Boot, and expanded my full-stack capabilities with PHP and JavaScript. I’m committed to microservices, REST APIs, Clean Code, and SOLID principles—backed by training in Spring Boot, React, NestJS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and software architecture.
