Francis Ansong
@francisansong
Senior project leader combining governance, MEL, and geospatial/digital transformation to deliver impact.
What I'm looking for
I’m a dynamic governance, peace and security specialist and tech enthusiast, bilingual in English and French fluently, with over 18 years of expertise spanning governance, trade and investment advocacy, business development, and technology. I lead complex international development projects from design to implementation through continuous monitoring, evaluation, strategic engagement, communication, and knowledge management across West Africa.
Most notably, I served as Chief of Party on the USAID-funded Peace through Evaluation, Learning and Adaptation II activity (PELA II), and as Deputy Chief of Party on the $21M USAID-funded Partnerships for Peace (P4P) program. I directed cutting-edge research on information manipulation and regional conflict dynamics, delivered MEL capacity building to U.S. Government stakeholders, and led the conception and implementation of a $2.7 million grants portfolio, while managing complex workflows with USAID, the Department of State, and the Department of Defense. I also drove learning and communication—developing USAID/WA Learning Agenda 2.0, organizing knowledge sharing and learning circles, and producing strategic communication outputs like policy briefs and infographics.
Since returning to SKTLive Limited as Managing Partner and Project Manager (Consultant), I’ve worked with the senior executive team to acquire three new projects with a total contract sum of over $8 million (as of December 2025), serving as Project Design and Implementation Lead. As a project manager, I lead end-to-end business development—from crafting proposals and negotiating contracts to defining go-to-market strategies for geospatial products and services—while building strategic relationships across government, enterprise, and industry stakeholders.
Earlier in my career, I built research and engagement credibility as Lead Researcher for the study “mapping the state of national-local cooperation on P/CVE in West Africa,” conducting hybrid qualitative and quantitative data collection engaging over 300 survey participants. I’ve also contributed to communications strategy and stakeholder engagement in Paris at the Embassy of Ghana, and supported proposal development and capture teams for U.S.-based organizations. I bring a consistent professional ethos: rigorous program thinking, stakeholder-centered collaboration, and practical learning loops that improve results in real time.
