What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to lead literacy initiatives, support educators, and drive student achievement in a collaborative environment.

I am a dynamic instructional leader and literacy expert with extensive experience in supporting K-12 educators and school leaders. My focus is on implementing developmentally appropriate, research-based literacy instruction that drives student achievement. I have a proven track record in leading professional learning, coaching teachers and administrators, and facilitating change through data-driven practices.

Currently, I serve as an Itinerant Instructional Coach for Memphis-Shelby County Schools, where I support early elementary teachers across multiple schools. My role involves conducting classroom observations, delivering actionable feedback, and co-planning lessons to model effective instruction. I am adept at using data from assessments to inform targeted instruction and lead professional learning initiatives that align with instructional goals.

With a strong foundation in curriculum development and a commitment to continuous improvement, I have designed and delivered professional development on literacy strategies for K-12 teachers. My experience includes mentoring new teachers, leading early writing initiatives, and collaborating with school leaders to build leadership capacity. I am passionate about fostering a culture of literacy and supporting educators in their professional growth.
