Firas Alhamoud

I am Firas Jamil Alhamoud, a dedicated Exploration Geophysicist with extensive experience in seismic interpretation and well logging analysis. With a Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from Damascus University and a diploma in Geophysical Exploration, I have honed my skills through various roles in the geoscience field. My career has spanned over a decade, during which I have contributed significantly to projects in Syria and internationally.

Currently, I serve as the Principal Geoscientist at Narag Energy Solutions in Lagos, where I lead geophysical studies and analyses. My previous roles include Head of the Geophysics Department at the General Petroleum Corporation in Syria and Well Logging Interpreter with STG-E. I have successfully managed and executed numerous projects, including reservoir modeling for Chevron Nigeria and seismic interpretation for various oil fields. My commitment to excellence and continuous learning has equipped me with advanced technical skills in software such as Petrel and Geoframe, enabling me to deliver high-quality results in complex geophysical challenges.
