I seek roles advancing trustworthy, interpretable AI for high-impact domains, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy reliable RAG/NLP systems and influence policy with transparent, evidence-based insights.

I am an applied AI researcher specializing in trustworthy and interpretable RAG systems for educational program evaluation. My work focuses on reconciling interpretability and accuracy in LLMs, reducing hallucination, and mitigating algorithmic bias.

Currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), I design domain-specific retrieval pipelines using LangChain and LlamaIndex and build FAISS-based vector knowledge bases from CAPES datasets. My research transforms raw institutional data into transparent, human-verifiable insights to inform policy decisions.

I have practical experience engineering semantic search prototypes, developing fairness-aware evaluation metrics, and applying embedding alignment in high-stakes domains like finance and education. I combine methodological rigor with applied deployments to ensure reliable, evidence-based outputs.

I bring a background in software and data systems from professional roles, certifications in Generative AI Engineering and Responsible Generative AI, and active engagement with academic communities to drive responsible AI adoption in educational contexts.
