What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Senior Accountant role in the UAE where I can run accurate financial operations, stay IFRS-compliant, and support regulatory compliance—while using my experience in GL, AP/AR, reporting, and budgeting to keep audits clean.

I’ve worked across accounting operations from GL through AP and AR, using QuickBooks and Xero to keep records IFRS-compliant. In my roles, I processed invoices for local and foreign vendors and ensured VAT and legal compliance.

At Acumen Intelligence and Vkonnect Solutions, I coordinated close activities, prepared monthly financial reports and management accounts, and supported balance sheet reconciliations and audit-ready documentation. I also worked directly with external auditors while resolving discrepancies found in bank and credit card reconciliations.

I’ve supported budgeting and forecasting by analyzing variances and giving management actionable insights. In addition, I gained exposure to taxation work by preparing BAS and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs.

I’m currently progressing toward Chartered Accountancy qualification and aiming for a Senior Accountant role in the UAE, where I can support accurate financial operations and regulatory compliance.
