What I'm looking for

I’m looking for immediate remote backend opportunities (any timezone) where I can own and scale PHP/Laravel REST API systems end-to-end—architecting data, queues, CI/CD, and secure integrations with a focus on uptime and auditability.

I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 8+ years building PHP/Laravel enterprise systems and REST APIs. I architect and own production backends end-to-end, with a strong focus on service architecture, secure APIs, and dependable delivery.

In my current role, I architected and continue to expand a 20+ module Laravel intranet that supports a US-headquartered manufacturer’s annual company audit. I’m the sole engineer responsible for REST APIs, background jobs/queues, and MySQL/PostgreSQL design and query optimization, serving ~50–60 users across UAE, USA, and UK.

I also drive automation and operational rigor—replacing a manual ECO process with a workflow-driven Laravel system, building Python automation to eliminate repetitive data entry, and rolling out MFA across Microsoft 365 and NetSuite with GDPR-aligned data handling.

Outside this, I’ve delivered sustained remote work across time zones: building PHP WordPress plugins that integrate booking sites with Track Hospitality and Escapia PMS APIs for real-time sync and Airbnb-style booking flows. Earlier, I built and extended WordPress, Magento, Laravel, and CodeIgniter applications, including WHMCS/WHM-cPanel integrations and hosting automation.
