Evans Rotich

I am a Computer Science and AI Specialist with over 8 years of experience in academic instruction, machine learning, and data annotation. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Nairobi. My expertise lies in natural language processing, AI model evaluation, and multilingual data handling, with a strong commitment to developing inclusive and ethically trained AI systems.

Currently, I serve as a Lecturer in the Computer Science Department at the University of Vienna, where I teach courses on Artificial Intelligence, Data Structures, and Machine Learning. I supervise student projects focused on NLP and ethical AI, and I design course materials that emphasize applied AI. My previous roles include working as an AI Research Consultant at Microsoft and as an AI Data Trainer at OpenAI, where I contributed to the evaluation of large language models and the development of annotated datasets.
