What I'm looking for
I’m a hard-working, keen-to-learn team worker with attention to detail, now working remotely as a Personal Functional Assessor from home. I bring over 6 years’ experience as a nurse in a hospital setting, paired with a strong focus on thorough, fair assessment.
In my current role, I review clients’ digital medical records accessed through the government’s web app and carry out functional assessments remotely via telephone. I assess clients with a wide range of health conditions, including mental health and neurodiversity, and I write comprehensive reports to advise the Department for Work and Pensions on functional ability.
Before this, I worked at UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON HOSPITAL across respiratory and infectious disease services, progressing from Nurse to Senior Nurse and then Deputy Sister. I led and supported quality improvement work, completed appraisals for junior staff, acted on behalf of the ward manager in their absence, and created and managed nursing team schedules.
I also coordinated student rotas and served as the Tissue Viability Nurse link, supervising pressure ulcer prevention and management. Earlier, I managed complex patient conditions, including COVID-infected patients, and I also bring experience from WIPROLTD as a Data Analyst and from teaching English as a Second Language.
