I am a qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of the Free State and SACE registration. I’m passionate about empowering children and young people by creating classrooms where learners feel safe, respected, and inspired to reach their full potential.

In my educator role, I implement the CAPS curriculum through engaging, learner-centred lessons, plan and prepare programmes, and support learners with diverse educational and personal needs. I’m committed to assessment and progress monitoring, accurate record keeping, and professional communication with parents and stakeholders.

I also bring an innovative approach to behaviour management, successfully using a Djembe drum with different rhythms to signal transitions, regain attention, and establish calm, consistent routines. I work collaboratively with colleagues and remain committed to continuous professional development, excited to contribute to the holistic development of learners within Child and Youth Care Centres.
