I’m a Dedicated Senior Accountant with over six years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting, specifically supporting sales and business development functions. I bring a strong analytical mindset and a clear commitment to fiscal accuracy and strategic growth.

In my current role at Sunsewa PLC (AddisAbaba, Ethiopia), I manage comprehensive accounting operations to ensure compliance within a dynamic sales environment. I oversee full-cycle accounting, including A/P, A/R, and general ledger analysis, and I produce financial data that supports forecasting and business development initiatives.

I’m experienced in IFRS and Ethiopian tax laws, and I actively support audit processes. I ensure IFRS standards and Ethiopian tax regulations are reflected in day-to-day accounting work, strengthening reliability of financial reporting and decision support for stakeholders.

Before this, as a Junior Accountant at National Exchange Actors Association (NEAA), I handled day-to-day financial operations such as petty cash reconciliation, fixed asset schedule maintenance, and inventory management with regular counts reconciled to the general ledger. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Debre Markos University and an MBA from Admas University, and I continue to build expertise through IFRS and Ethiopian tax training.
