I'm maintaining data lake and standalone application platforms at Veterans United Home Loans, including Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and NiFi. I build automation for disaster recovery, backups, and standard administrative work while helping teams troubleshoot application issues.

I've improved application uptime through maintenance and monitoring, developed alerting solutions, and built and tested data lake technologies using Cloudera, Accel Data, and open-source tools.

Previously, I administered Microsoft SQL Server and Linux environments for the State of Missouri, supporting backups, restores, security, performance improvements, and developer troubleshooting. I also taught database management, project management, web design, networking, systems analysis, and enterprise collaboration tools at William Woods University.

My background combines data applications, database administration, Linux systems, networking, and technical education. My doctoral research examined factors influencing throughput on cloud-hosted MySQL servers.
