What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply GIS, remote sensing, and Python (ArcPy) to support site evaluation, hazard studies, and technical reporting—working with multidisciplinary teams on high-impact energy and safety projects.

I’m a Geological Engineer focused on GIS and Python for geospatial analysis, site evaluation, and data-driven problem solving. I combine geological, geotechnical, and geospatial insights to support technical decision-making in complex projects.

In my current role with Nuclear Power Ghana, I support site selection and evaluation for Ghana’s Nuclear Power Plant by performing geospatial analysis in ArcGIS Pro, including coastal inundation modelling. I manage and maintain geospatial databases, use remote sensing data for spatial analysis, and produce maps and technical reports such as the Site Approval Report (SAR).

I also automate workflows by developing Python (ArcPy) scripts to streamline spatial analysis in ArcGIS Pro, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across hydrology, meteorology, emergency planning, and external hazard assessments. I contribute to drafting Terms of Reference (ToR) for geological and seismic hazard assessments and support aerial mapping and aeromagnetic survey coordination and supervision.

Earlier, as a Graduate Trainee at Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC)–Nuclear Power Institute, I processed spatial and non-spatial data in ArcGIS Pro to generate maps, reviewed geology and seismology criteria, and prepared reports and presentations based on analytical findings. Alongside my engineering work, I contribute to an IAEA coordinated research project by building SWAN simulation input configurations and processing results using MATLAB, strengthening my technical reporting and research rigor.
