Eme Onwuka

I’m a results-driven DevOps and Cloud Engineer focused on designing, deploying, and automating scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. I bring hands-on experience across Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines built with GitHub Actions.

In my freelance work (project-based, remote, 2023–Present), I build production-style systems including serverless applications, automated EC2 provisioning, and multi-container deployments. I routinely use Terraform remote state with S3 and DynamoDB locking to keep team-safe infrastructure changes.

I also strengthen reliability with Linux systems administration and practical cloud operations—configuring Nginx/reverse proxies, managing SSH-based server environments, and troubleshooting networking and container issues across distributed deployments. Security is a core part of my approach, applying AWS IAM policies, security groups, and the AWS shared responsibility model.

I’m self-driven and highly adaptable, with a clear preference for remote-first collaboration with international teams. I’m fully available for remote work (40 hours/week) and enjoy shipping well-documented solutions that make cloud operations easier for others.
