Elliot Blain

My name is Elliot Blain. I am a recent graduate from University of Florida where I earned a bachelors degree in Computer Science. Through my academic journey I developed a strong foundation in software development, problem solving, and programming, along with a growing passion for building efficient and meaningful technology.

Throughout my studies I worked extensively with Python, C++, and MATLAB, and gained hands on experience using tools such as GitHub for version control and collaboration. I enjoy tackling complex problems, learning new technologies, and writing clean, maintainable code. I have gravitated most towards projects involving game development and front end development. I am particularly interested in roles where I can continue to grow as a developer while contributing to impactful, user focused software.

Outside of programming, you can find me browsing stores looking for new plants to take home with me, baking, reading, and unwinding with games like Animal Crossing. These hobbies reflect the same curiosity and creativity that drive my approach to software development.

I have grown up with technology and am comfortable using various computer software. I am proficient in Python, C++, MATLAB, Microsoft Office, GitHub, and social media.

I am actively seeking opportunities to apply my computer science education in a professional setting and am excited to begin my career in the tech industry.
