Elijah Mecha

I am an aspiring developer and researcher from Nairobi, actively learning coding and data management while studying at The Cooperative University of Kenya. I engage in volunteer work focused on safe travel and civilized transportation and organize community support for the elderly and children.

I have a record of competition success in regional chess and mathematics contests and participated in project shows at the regional level, illustrating my commitment to problem solving and teamwork. In 2025 I completed my first portfolio project and attended my first coding workshop to build practical skills.

My technical familiarity includes Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and foundational coding and data management experience. I also write screenplays, poetry, and news articles and practice public speaking to strengthen my communication skills.

I am fluent in Swahili and English, enjoy learning new skills, and seek opportunities where I can gain hands-on experience, contribute to community-focused projects, and continue developing technically and professionally.
