At the VA Medical Center and Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare, I perform complex two-dimensional, stress, transesophageal, 3D, and tissue-strain echocardiograms while reviewing ECG, EKG, and telemetry rhythms.
I identify and document normal and abnormal rhythm changes, correlate symptoms and blood-pressure responses during stress testing, and promptly communicate significant findings to cardiologists.
I have supported pacemaker, ICD, and BiV implant procedures, diagnostic heart catheterizations, and PCI cases by monitoring hemodynamic, ECG, and pressure-waveform data and maintaining procedural documentation.
As a CRAT, RCIS, and registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer, I contribute to quality assurance, clinical research, ECG/EGM annotation review, patient education, and training for new hires and cardiology fellows.
