Carey Walker

I lead operations and instruction at the Cardiovascular Institute of Ultrasound, supporting a dual-accredited cardiac sonography and vascular technology program serving cardiac and vascular students each quarter.

I build curriculum, exams, and clinical-rotation materials; teach ultrasound physics and patient care; and developed an evening pediatric echocardiography elective. I also support accreditation compliance, clinical coordination, and faculty development across cardiac sonography and vascular technology tracks.

Alongside education leadership, I perform pediatric and fetal echocardiography at USA Children's & Women's Hospital, including complex congenital cases, and bring prior adult and pediatric echocardiography experience from Mobile Infirmary Hospital and Cardiology Associates.
