Dyna Wilson

I'm an MSc Data Science graduate from Vellore Institute of Technology (CGPA 8.93/10), with a BSc in Statistics from SIES College, Mumbai. I work across Python, SQL, R, and machine learning, with hands-on experience in predictive modeling, deep learning, and NLP.

My internship at Karkinos Healthcare involved building bioinformatics pipelines for clinical variant annotation and population genomics, processing 90 WGS/WES samples and analyzing 3,660 South Asian genomes for precision oncology research. Earlier, at Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals, I benchmarked forecasting methodologies for crude oil pricing through a literature survey of 60+ research papers.

My project work spans healthcare (heart disease prediction with explainable AI), finance (an LSTM model combining Reddit sentiment with crude oil price data, achieving ~3% prediction error), and AI security (adversarial attacks on neural networks, published in a Springer volume for IDSCS 2025).

I enjoy turning messy, real-world data into models and insights that hold up in practice, and I'm looking for opportunities to apply that as a data scientist or ML engineer.
