I’m a Commercial Contracts and Legal Counsel and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over four years of post-qualification experience advising institutions on commercial contracting, legal risk management, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and intellectual property matters. I’m known for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, building governance frameworks, and delivering practical legal solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

As in-house legal counsel at Strathmore University, I support commercial, governance, compliance, and intellectual property functions—handling the full contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation through execution, compliance monitoring, amendments, renewals, and record management. I also manage and protect an institutional intellectual property portfolio by coordinating trademark, copyright, and institutional coat of arms registrations, and I collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to balance legal protection with business goals in dynamic, regulated environments.
