Dmitry Sinyavin
@dmitrysinyavin
Senior software engineer at Parity Technologies who optimized Polkadot’s statement store, cutting index heap by 98%.
CroatiaWhat I'm looking for
At Parity Technologies, I integrated asynchronous backing and elastic scaling for Polkadot, and built benchmarks and tuned protocol parameters for the team’s 10x throughput improvement in a standardized benchmark. I also authored the technical analysis.
I redesigned indexes and locking in a distributed weakly-coherent statement store, cutting steady-state index heap by 98% and startup from 8.7 seconds to 2 seconds in a 4.2M-record benchmark. I also authored an RFC and implemented a VM-host interface redesign to reduce execution overhead.
Before Parity, I engineered high-load telemetry and data-collection software at NXLog and reworked its testing framework, cutting CI runtime from approximately 40 minutes to 2 minutes. At My-shop.ru, I designed logistics, warehouse, and financial automation systems, including one processing millions of transactions per month.
