I’m a senior .NET developer with 10 years of experience designing, modernising, and maintaining enterprise systems in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server across public sector, healthcare, retail, and education. I take pride in being a technical owner for complex backend platforms—end-to-end, with a strong security and reliability mindset.

Most recently, I’m a senior developer on a national-scale data platform for the Portuguese Ministry of Health, where I’ve had hands-on ownership of security hardening, performance tuning of billion-row datasets, and Azure AD / OAuth integration. I led security remediation of the platform’s first penetration test, mitigating SQL injection vulnerabilities and moving the system from a failed pentest to a passing posture.

I also built critical operational foundations, including a centralised error-logging system to eliminate reliance on default IIS error pages and improve incident diagnosis, plus major stored procedure optimisations that reduced execution times dramatically. Alongside delivery, I mentor mid and junior engineers through code review and technical unblocking, and I enjoy turning complex requirements into maintainable, measurable outcomes.
