What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a remote LatAm data engineering role where I can build governed Azure lakehouse platforms, improve production reliability, and deliver trusted datasets for analytics and machine learning.

At Jalasoft, supporting PROS B2B pricing software, I built and operated an Azure analytics platform for 14 business units processing 1–10M rows daily. I integrated SAP, SharePoint, IBM DB2, SQL Server, REST APIs, Excel, and CSV data into a Delta Lake lakehouse using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and PySpark.

I designed Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, reduced nightly batch processing from over four hours to under two, and lowered compute spend by 10–30%. I also implemented Unity Catalog governance, automated testing and CI/CD, orchestrated 10+ production pipelines, and reduced recurring pipeline failures by roughly 50%.
