Diego Gil
@diegogil1
Electrical Engineering Project Manager blending industrial engineering, functional safety expertise, and stakeholder leadership to deliver outcomes.
What I'm looking for
I’m a dedicated, hardworking, and proactive industrial engineer with a strong electrical engineering background, focused on making things happen in challenging environments. I bring human-relation skills across stakeholders, along with problem solving and a solution-oriented mindset, including leadership and decision making throughout the execution phase. I’m also cultivating a research mindset through ongoing work with filed patents.
In my roles across electrification and power electronics, I’ve worked on ISO 26262 functional safety, inhouse development of vehicle-connected electronic components, and system-level designs for DC-DC and AC-DC converters. I’ve acted as a system lead across technical hardware and software subjects, using tools like MATLAB/Simulink and Mathcad, and supporting functional safety analyses. I’m driven by clear communication, teamwork, and building reliable electrical systems—whether for traction battery-related development or electrification products such as BMS, OBC, and DCDC.
