At ETR, I coordinate day-to-day operations across concurrent, federally funded multi-site studies supported by NIH, NSF, and OPA. I adapt programming and scheduling to site and participant needs.
I manage recruitment, screening, enrollment, follow-up, and retention, and build tracking systems for incentives and multi-site scheduling. I also maintain IRB compliance, informed consent procedures, and participant data confidentiality.
I conduct semi-structured and cognitive interviews with youth and educators, then use thematic analysis with Dedoose and Excel to inform program and instrument design. I also recruit youth research advisors and incorporate participant voice into study materials.
My interest in this work comes from a belief in primary prevention. At Girls Invest San Diego, I evaluated a mobile app-based sexual health and financial literacy intervention, which deepened my appreciation for the connection between technology, data, and behavior change.
