Deonya Broyles
@deonyabroyles
Chemical and forensic-focused laboratory professional specializing in cGMP documentation and HPLC research.
What I'm looking for
Recently completed my bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Criminal Justice, and I’m currently seeking my Master’s in Forensic Science. I’m excited about what’s coming next as I navigate graduate school and learn new skills.
This summer, I worked as a Chemical Engineering Intern at Trinseo through my scholarship as an ACS Scholar. I gained hands-on insight by working alongside chemical engineers and operators, using independent research skills, collecting field data, and processing information.
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, I’ve served as a Formulation Technician III, focusing on “right the first time” execution of manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs. I document all activities to meet cGMP requirements, complete daily record reviews and database tasks, and perform preventative maintenance with equipment testing and routine trouble-shooting.
I’m a reliable, dedicated team player with strong communication and organization. I actively participate/lead shift exchanges, 1-1’s, and meetings (lean activities), and I’ve also supported safe, organized lab setups through teaching assistant work and leadership through student worker roles.
