Deon Davis

As a U.S. Navy C4I Analyst, I protected classified and sensitive government information by enforcing access controls and following security procedures. I also assisted with SCIF physical and personnel security inspections.

I supported internal security compliance inspections by maintaining documentation, preparing audit materials, and resolving administrative discrepancies. I also coordinated security-related training and produced executive documentation.

I managed administrative actions for 76 personnel and streamlined correspondence, policy, evaluation, and award routing, reducing routing time by 30 percent.

In my cybersecurity home SOC lab, I used Wazuh, Sysmon, and Zeek to collect and analyze logs, investigate Windows events, and practice threat detection using MITRE ATT&CK techniques. I hold CompTIA CySA+ and Security+ certifications and am seeking to transition into a SOC Analyst role.
