Dennis Cruz

As a current Master of Science graduate student in Data Science at The City College of New York, I hold a BA in Astrophysics from Columbia University. My academic journey has equipped me with robust programming skills, particularly in Python and R, which I have applied in various data analysis projects. I am passionate about leveraging data to drive insights and improve decision-making.

My hands-on experience includes projects such as creating predictive models for Hepatitis C diagnosis and analyzing asbestos concentrations in NYC buildings. I have also worked as a research assistant, where I co-developed a machine-learning algorithm for detecting exoplanets. With over eight years in the hospitality industry, I bring strong customer service and management skills, complemented by my technical expertise.
