At Salient Technologies Inc., I lead mechanical design and product development for client programs, translating functional requirements and industrial design intent into manufacturable hardware. I was directly responsible for bringing 24 products from concept to production across 100+ projects for 65 clients.
I designed the enclosure and attachment mechanism for a wearable device, developing CAD designs and supporting iterative prototypes to evaluate fit, function, and usability. I also develop precision injection-molded components and production documentation in SolidWorks.
I plan prototype iterations and physical evaluations, define test objectives with clients, and coordinate verification with manufacturing partners. I apply structural FEA, tolerance analysis, and design and assembly FMEA to evaluate risks and investigate failures.
Previously, I developed production-ready forklift parts and assemblies at Hyster-Yale Group, and at BIOTRONIK / MSEI I built research pacemakers and conducted fatigue testing on fixation components. I’m a named inventor on 7 patents and hold an Engineer in Training (EIT) credential.
