Deepika Kaushik

At Aligarh Muslim University, my doctoral work focused on improving metaheuristic algorithms for optimization problems. I developed batch-based and confluence-based strategies to improve algorithm initialization, diversity, and convergence behavior.

My research has produced 10 peer-reviewed publications, including work on batch metaheuristics, confluence-based initialization, and parameter tuning. I’ve also presented research at international conferences.

My work has explored applications including fake news detection using evolutionary ensemble deep learning, particle swarm optimization for the CEED problem, and optimal car side-impact design using an improved genetic algorithm.

I’m interested in extending interdisciplinary optimization methods to real-world engineering, energy, and data-driven decision-making systems, and exploring their integration with machine learning and large language models.
