At K3 Integrations, I architected the Node.js financial back end for a donation aggregator, integrating Stripe and a TigerBeetle double-entry ledger with PostgreSQL. I also contributed React front-end work, following an earlier Svelte/SvelteKit version.

I diagnosed traffic spikes that crashed K3’s multi-tenant hosting and designed an Nginx-FastCGI-iptables pipeline to automatically ban offending IPs. I also added rate limits for abusive crawlers and modernized legacy Ruby on Rails applications through staged upgrades to Rails 7 and 8.

Earlier, at Adobe Systems, I replaced a hand-edited Acrobat Reader download page with a Perl/XML/XSLT publishing system that verified every download URL before publishing. I also developed a targeted Apache patch for an interoperability issue and submitted the working fix upstream.
