David You
@davidyou
Mechanical engineering student and engineering intern combining R&D validation with Python and CAD-driven prototyping.
What I'm looking for
I’m a mechanical engineering student and Engineering Intern who helps teams turn technical requirements into measurable improvements. At Philips, I contributed to next-generation patient monitoring systems by analyzing feature enhancements, validating design requirements, and reviewing regulatory compliance protocols to support patient care outcomes.
I build practical systems through end-to-end projects, from CAD to software integration. I developed an electromechanical educational game using SOLIDWORKS and Python-based logic, and I designed an Arduino autonomous navigation robot using sensors and motor control—then used iteration and gameplay/technical metrics to refine results. I also pursue growth through Generative AI, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Security Essentials, and Docker Foundations certifications.
