David Herrera

I’m a junior developer with 1 year of hands-on experience, including 6 months in support and automation at BDO and 6 months in .NET/SQL development at OutSourcing. I focus on process automation and reliable delivery, combining Power Platform, Python, and .NET.

At BDO Colombia, I’ve built business process automation using Power Automate and Python scripts. I’ve also supported reporting by developing interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI, and created and deployed business applications with Power Apps, alongside master data administration and cleanup in ERP/CRM systems.

At OutSourcing Colombia, I developed and maintained .NET applications for survey management. I handled SQL Server database administration and optimization through query debugging, analysis, and performance improvements, working in agile teams under Scrum.

I’m certified in Claude API, MCP, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI through Anthropic Academy, and I’m passionate about adopting AI tools responsibly. As a Systems Engineering student graduating soon in a Software Development Technologist pathway, I bring an agile mindset, efficient problem-solving, and a bias toward practical automation.
