I analyze recordings for pitch, rhythm, timbre, instrumentation, and other audible characteristics, then segment and label audio according to defined dataset requirements. I use analytical listening and music theory to identify musical structures and subtle differences in sound.
In my independent, project-based annotation work, I document annotation decisions and edge cases while reviewing audio for consistency. I’ve used Audacity, Praat, Sonic Visualiser, Label Studio, Adobe Audition, Encord, and Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth in audio workflows.
I also teach piano, keyboard, and music theory, using structured listening exercises to help learners recognize musical patterns by ear. In independent data analysis and quality review projects, I work with structured datasets, check for inconsistencies, and document findings.
