What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to further develop my teaching skills while contributing positively to the school community.

As a passionate educator, I have dedicated my career to fostering a positive learning environment for my students. With a Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership from Concordia University-Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, I am licensed to teach grades 9-12 in both Illinois and Missouri. My experience as a Social Studies Teacher at Belleville West High School has allowed me to teach honor civic classes and world geography, where I strive to inspire students to engage with the world around them.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I actively contribute to my school community as an Assistant Debate Coach and Assistant E-Sports Coach. My commitment to education extends beyond the classroom, as I have also umpired in Minor League Baseball for five seasons and have been involved in umpire training programs. My diverse experiences have equipped me with strong leadership and organizational skills, which I apply in both educational and extracurricular settings.
