I oversee public health investigations end-to-end, translating real-time surveillance into clear next steps for communicable disease reporting, outbreak monitoring, and rapid response support. I’m at my best coordinating timely work under tight deadlines while keeping data quality and reporting standards consistent.

In my current Community Health Epidemiologist role, I work closely with government agencies to ensure timely reporting of communicable diseases according to established guidelines. I monitor disease outbreaks in real time by establishing effective surveillance systems and tracking key indicators, while maintaining data, reporting, and quality assurance throughout investigations.

I also lead through mentorship and collaboration. I mentor junior epidemiologists through hands-on training exercises, strengthening their epidemiological principles and best practices, and I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive public health solutions for disease outbreaks.

Earlier leadership experience shaped my approach to accountability and continuous improvement. As a Director Quality, Risk and Patient Safety (Project Coordination), I built high-performing teams through mentorship, streamlined processes to increase company revenue, strengthened internal controls for compliance, and supported emergency readiness—habits I now bring into evidence-based public health decisions.
