I have been working as a Tax inspector and Data scientist for 3 years at Alagoas State Treasury Department. Currently, I'm responsible to inspect and monitor wheat flour market. I I use python and SQL to develop some dashboards to identify these companies that are suspect of tax evasion in these products and to calculate how much these companies should pay in taxes.
Since I started my major in statistics, I really enjoyed using data with scientific method to solve problems in real world. I feel that I have some power to help others and serve them. Because of that, I decided to continue follow this data path of studying data analyst and data scientist. One example of this is when I was making an automatized report and dashboard in Python that calculate tax liability of companies that have tax breaks that are using improper tax credits. Now I am eager to get new challenges.
