Daniel Pimenta

My name is Daniel Pimenta, a dedicated Software Engineer with a master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering and four years of hands-on experience in software development. I have a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies, with a specialization in microservices architecture. My work at Deimos Engenharia S.A. has allowed me to contribute significantly to projects that transform and visualize Earth observation data, utilizing technologies such as Angular, Java (Spring Boot), and Python (Flask/FastAPI).

Throughout my career, I have focused on improving DevOps processes and enhancing system visibility. I developed a Platform as Code solution for managing microservices infrastructure on Kubernetes and implemented CI/CD pipelines that have notably increased team efficiency. My passion for creating robust and scalable systems is complemented by my experience in developing authentication and authorization systems for European Earth observation projects, showcasing my ability to work on complex, impactful solutions.
