As a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in frontend and backend development, I am passionate about learning and teaching new technologies. Currently, I lead the migration from Angular to React and TypeScript at Apptega, where I also mentor interns and establish best practices for our engineering team. My role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop a component library that enhances our design system for multiple clients.
Previously, I served as an Engineering Manager at PTO Genius, where I developed and maintained a front-end application using React and TypeScript, and led the design of the orders checkout process. I have a strong background in API development with GraphQL and Ruby on Rails, and I have successfully defined coding standards for teams of engineers. My experience also includes contributing to open-source projects, such as Spotify's Backstage, where I led theming efforts for a Kubernetes-based software catalog.
