What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend engineering role where I can own Java microservices, deliver reliable Kafka event processing, and work in a production-focused team that values strong troubleshooting, operational resilience, and continuous improvement.

I’m a Backend Developer focused on enterprise Java systems in the banking sector. I take full ownership of critical microservices that run event-driven workflows, using Kafka and state machine orchestration to keep business operations reliable.

In my current role at SmartShaped Software for Intesa Sanpaolo (via Tinexta), I maintain and improve a fund management system built around Kafka-based event processing. I debug and resolve complex production issues while integrating modern Spring Boot services with legacy COBOL systems, and I implement idempotency controls and validation mechanisms to ensure data consistency in a high-availability environment.

I also strengthened operational resilience by implementing an automated ServiceNow incident management integration for order processing failures. Previously, I built a bank reconciliation system (Riquadro) using Quartz Scheduler for job orchestration, and I developed an internal desk booking system using Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Data/Security, and Hibernate.
