Daniel Ariza Echeverri
@danielarizaecheverri
I build research software and AI workflows for biological and scientific applications.
What I'm looking for
I've built backend services and research interfaces at NanoTemper Technologies, modelling complex biological assays for SaaS applications with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React, and REST APIs.
During my AI research internship at Japan's National Institute of Informatics, I built LLM, RAG, and prompt-engineering workflows to help researchers verify scientific claims against evidence. I fine-tuned PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformer models and packaged workflows as APIs, CLI tools, and batch processes.
I've also developed JavaFX software for 3D bioprinting at Black Drop Bioprinting, working directly with researchers to turn laboratory requirements into tested features. I'm completing an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics and enjoy building practical software that supports scientific work.
