@damonkelly
Senior clinical safety and pharmacovigilance professional returning to direct patient care as an LPN.
What I'm looking for
I am a Licensed Practical Nurse and seasoned pharmacovigilance professional with over 14 years of global drug safety, medical information, and clinical research experience combined with hands-on nursing and EMT leadership. I bridge pharmacology, clinical research, and bedside care to improve patient outcomes and medication safety.
In safety roles I led ICSR intake, triage, causality assessment, MedDRA coding, narrative writing, and quality review of serious adverse events, ensuring timely regulatory reporting to FDA, EMA, investigators, and ethics committees. I have supported Phase I–IV trials, post-marketing safety, signal detection, database reconciliation, and audit readiness while training and mentoring clinical and safety staff.
As a clinician I have provided direct patient care including IV starts, phlebotomy, ECGs, vital signs, emergency stabilization, and adverse event recognition. I am motivated to return to bedside nursing where my regulatory and safety expertise enhances patient advocacy and medication safety in clinical settings.
